Petualangan Sherina or Sherina Explorer is a hit Indonesia Movie in 2000. It was telling story about Sherina and her friend Sadam when they kidnapped by Sadam’s father rival. Now, Petualangan Sherina 2 Movie will release on 20 September 2023 and most the location for shooting the movie was held in Central Kalimantan!
Petualangan Sherina 2 is telling about the conservation and Orangutan rehabilitation in Central Kalimantan and Sherina meet again with Sadam as he works in Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF). The BOS Foundation story started in 1991 with the establishment of a modest rehabilitation centre at Wanariset in East Kalimantan in response to the many orangutan lives displaced due to the illegal pet trade. In the decades since, our role has grown immensely. Today, we work together with local populations, the Indonesian government, and the greater global community, to fight extinction and conserve orangutans and their habitats in sites all across Borneo – specifically in the Indonesian provinces of Central and East Kalimantan (find out more at https://www.orangutan.or.id/).

We take you to the Petualangan Sherina’s location in Central Kalimantan and explore the beauty of Orangutan, Nature and Culture. We are open trip on 28 September- 1 October 2023.
Day 1
Palangkaraya Arrival at Tjilik Riwut Airport in the morning. We then drive to Abroretum Nyaru Menteng, the rehabilitation of Orangutan by Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation, and boat to Kaja Island to see the pre-releae Orangutan. Lunch at local restaurant.
We head to Tumbang Manggu village and stay at Dayak longhouse. When we arrive, we will get a Dayak ritual such as Tampung Tawar (holy water) which aims to avoid harm in every our activity. Overnight in the longhouse.
Day 2
After breakfast, we jungle trekking and river cruise by small motorized in Tumbang Kaman village area. Then, lunch at the riverbank and enjoy the view of the forest.
Back to Tumbang Manggu and enjoying the special local Dayak music and dance.

Day 3
Back to Palangkaraya and explore the city.
Overnight in hotel.
Day 4
Take to the airport, end of tour.
